Course Title: Formalizing Your Trend Analysis Process

Course Type: Webinars

Objective: This webinar focuses on establishing a trend analysis process at your organization. It summarizes trending requirements in a safety management system (SMS) and what is needed for a successful trend analysis program. This webinar describes leading and lagging indicators to consider in your process and types of data to gather for analysis. It concludes by discussing how to use trends to drive continuous improvement in your SMS.

Pre-Requisites: This is an introductory level webinar that is beneficial to personnel wanting to learn more about the trend analysis process that includes monitoring, measurement, and analysis to support the SMS. Personnel gaining the most benefit from this presentation may include: safety and health (S&H) professionals, persons with additional S&H duties related to trend analysis (e.g., Additional Duty Safety Officers (ADSOs), Collateral Duty Safety Officers (CDSOs)), business analysts, and SMS Champions.
