Course Title: Developing a Hazard Reporting and Tracking Process

Course Type: Webinars

Objective: This webinar focuses on why and how to develop an effective hazard reporting and tracking process. It also reviews common challenges associated with these processes. Finally, this webinar discusses hazard reporting and tracking best practices found at DoD organizations.

Pre-Requisites: This intermediate level-webinar benefits personnel wanting to learn more about developing an effective hazard tracking process. Attendees should have a fundamental understanding of hazard identification prior to this webinar. Personnel gaining the most benefit from this presentation may include: safety and occupational health (SOH) professionals, Industrial hygienists (IHs), Additional Duty Safety Officers (ADSOs), Collateral Duty Safety Officers (CDSOs), and Unit Safety Officers (USOs).

Alyssa Gormish, CTC, DoD SMCX Safety and Environmental Professional

Ms. Gormish has worked on the SMCX program since 2012, supporting all DoD Services and Agencies. She also has experience conducting environmental, energy, and resource management projects for CTC clients.


Dave Akers, MS, CSP, OHST, CTC, DoD SMCX Senior Safety Professional

Working on the DoD SMCX program for over 14 years, Dave provides SOHMS support to all DoD Services and Agencies. He is an experienced assessor and serves as the DLA point of contact.


Ronald M. Williamson, CSP, CTC, DoD SMCX Senior Occupational Safety and Health Specialist

Mr. Williamson was the Safety Manager at NAS Jacksonville for 40 years in conjunction with being the Safety Director for Commander Navy Region Southeast for 20 years.
