Course Title: Blueprint for a Successful VPP Self-Evaluation

Objective: This webinar focuses on the annual Voluntary Protection Programs (VPP) self-evaluation, specifically how to prepare for and develop each section of the evaluation. This webinar helps you understand why an annual self-evaluation is necessary, how to retrieve the annual self-evaluation template, deciding who should be responsible for writing each section, and tips to prepare a written evaluation of each sub-element. This webinar concludes with ideas for using the self-evaluation results to improve your safety and occupational health management system (SOHMS).

Pre-Requisites: This introductory level webinar is beneficial to personnel wanting to learn more about writing the annual VPP self-evaluation. Personnel gaining the most benefit from this workshop may include: • Safety and health (S&H) professionals, • SOHMS points of contact, • personnel leading the effort to conduct the annual VPP self-evaluation, and • personnel tasked with writing the narrative part of the annual VPP self-evaluation.
