Course Title: Enhancing Contractor S&H: Practices for Oversight and Management in a SOHMS

Course Type: Webinars

Objective: This webinar focuses on practices to support contractor management and oversight in an (SOHMS). It explains the importance of contractor management and oversight and reviews common contractor-related SOHMS requirements. It discusses the contract officer representatives (COR) and Safety Office relationship and lists example documentation an organization should retain to validate SOHMS criteria. It also reviews training requirements for CORs and the training requirements for contract workers. Finally, the webinar concludes by providing strategies to improve contractor communications, monitor contract work, and assess contractor performance at your organization.

Pre-Requisites: Personnel benefitting from this introductory-level webinar include anyone to wanting to learn more about contractors in an SOHMS.
